I came to Ameriprise Financial six years ago with a dream. I am an avid fisherman who began fishing local bass tournaments for fun. The first tournament I fished I won — and received a sizeable amount of money. That's when I discovered my dream for retirement: a second career in bass fishing. What I needed was confirmation that I could follow that dream. Tommy*, my Ameriprise financial advisor, found that I had done a good job of accumulating assets. The key was to review my investments in light of my dream. Today, I live my dream of bass fishing. I meet with Tommy every six months to keep on track with my goals.
